A 'le phare' gold minute repeater chronograph hunter case pocket watch, about 1900

White enamel dial with Roman numerals, outer minute track, centre chronograph hand and subsidiary seconds. Cuvette signed 'Répétition à minutes Le Phare système perfectionné', 32 rubis movement. Repeater activated by a pusher at 12 o'clock, chronograph operated by a pusher at 2 o'clock. 'Le Phare' (Charles Barbezat-Baillot, Le Locle) patented a simplified minute repeating mechanism in 1888, awarded the Grand Prix at the 1900 Paris World Fair.
